UT Southwestern Genetic Counseling Education Opportunities

The UT Southwestern Cancer Genetics Program provides educational opportunities for prospective genetic counseling students interested in learning more about the field of genetic counseling and cancer genetics.

Participants will be invited to take part in the following educational opportunities:

Journal Club: Bimonthly genetic counselor review and discussion of recent cancer genetics publications. Journal club takes place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month via Microsoft Teams from 4:00-4:30 PM CST.

Informational Interview: One time opportunity to schedule a 15-20 minute informational interview with a genetic counselor. Informational interviews will occur via phone or video. Please prepare questions to ask the genetic counselor.
